Gettin' British

After almost a week and a half in Britain I'm getting used to getting British! Although I miss Italian weather and food, I have no problems with the rainy England and even the food is becoming edible!! I really like all the friends I made here, and all the teachers too!!

Thorpe Park

Yesterday we went to Thorpe Park to have some fun! There were many attractions and we were not able to ride them all, but we rode the most beautiful ones. There was a roller coaster called "Colossus" which was really funny, then we went to " No Way Out", a roaller coaster which goes backwards, and so on. We ate an enourmous hot dog in the park, and everybody thought they were going to throw up in the following roallercoaster. Fortunately we didn't!!! Then I went to the kids area...and i was able to ride a banana attraction...thanks to the girls..!! Luca was able to win a guitar in the park, and I played it all the time while coming back to Queenswood!!!

Shopping in London and Disco

Hi! On Saturday we went to London to do some shopping. After a quick visit to a shopping mall, which was not so good, we went to Oxford street and Regent Street. There were a lot of beautiful shops there and of course we visited many of them! We went into Tommy Hilfiger's store, Timberland, Zara, Quicksilver and so on. I was able to find a nice sweater in Quicksilver's store and I bought it. My friends bought some clothes too, and we spent almost all the time looking for something to buy. Then we went to Mc Donalds to eat , but we had to eat very fastly because we were late...as always! I really enjoyed the city center, altough it was very very crowded. Then we went back to Queenswood, and after dinner we prepared for the disco. Although the music was not very good ( Michael Jackson's Billie Jean played for three times!!! ) we were able to have fun, also with Pete and other Staff who came to dance!

Trip to London

Hey everybody! Yesterday we went to London for a trip, it was funny! We went into the British Museum and before visiting it I played cards with spanish people, sitting in the cafe! Then I visited it all and I was able to see a lot of Italian people there. I was able to fill in my question sheet about Greece and Rome. After about an hour and half in the museum we went outside and made some group photos! We also had time to walk around a little bit , even if we had only a little free time for eating and even if the packed lunch was not so good!!!! While we were walking we saw Buckingham Palace with his Big Ben, the Changing of the Guard and St. James Park. Tomorrow we are going to do shopping in London...hope I can find something nice to buy!! I'll write about it anyway...byeee!!!

Life in QW

Hi everyone!! I came to Queenswood two years ago and now I'm back here! I really enjoy this place,the activities are interesting and I made a lot of friends too! In this blog I' ll write every day the experiences I'm having so you can read them if you want... time is up now, I have to log off!! Now we are going to have another lesson! byeeeee
